Still Sad Because Celebration Anaheim is Over?

Whether you attended Celebration Anaheim or watched the live feed on the side while at work (I know you did), I think we're all still a little depressed that the Star Wars festivities are over.

So how can you deal with the post-Celebration-crash (besides crying)? Here are some ideas recommended by a reliable source!*

*Meaning me

1) Plan Your Costume for the Next Celebration

It's never too early to plan! (Especially if you change your mind about what costume to wear every two weeks like me.) Head on over the the Rebel Legion website and forums and start ooo-ing and aaah-ing over what to plan. I suggest an x-wing pilot.

(And there's always the 501st Legion for your costuming needs, if you're more a dark-side individual.)

2) Plan a Trip to Star Wars Weekends

Okay, so not everyone can jump in their cars and head to Florida. But hey? If you can, it's a good alternative to Star Wars Celebration, if you don't mind the heat and over-priced Disney merch.

3) Make a Star Wars Craft

There's lots of Star Wars crafts of all difficulty levels to chose from. Make a sock puppet with your kids or rock this thing to work. You also can't go wrong with the Star Wars craft book by Bonnie Burton.

And if you decide on painting a Star Wars shirt with a stencil, please don't let the stencil dry to the shirt. It will never come off. Ever*

*I ought to know. RIP Wolf Pack shirt.

4) Find a New Favorite Podcast

There are dozens of podcasts to chose from, but when you find the right one it can become part of the family. I've personally been listening to the Rebel Force Radio guys for years. You should check them out! I also recommend giving the Star Wars Underworld podcast a listen.

5) Plan Your "May the Forth Be With You" Day

May the 4th is coming up quick! If you haven't already, make some plans!

Princess Leia Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast?
A movie marathon complete with wookiee cookies?
Reading fanfiction until 1AM? (Okay, I do this without the excuse of it being Star Wars Day.)

Start making your list now!

So how have you been coping with the post-Celebration blues?
